Direct Private Transfers from Antalya Airport to Olympos
The journey from Antalya Airport (AYT) to Olympos covers 85 km along the southwest Mediterranean coast. Booking a direct private transfer takes roughly 80 minutes, carrying you straight from the arrivals terminal into the pine-forested valley of Olympos without extra stops or shared passenger detours.
Because we operate our own vehicles and employ our drivers directly, your journey is arranged as soon as you confirm your flight details. We monitor your flight live, ensuring your driver is inside the arrivals hall holding a sign with your name, regardless of whether your flight lands early or suffers a delay.
What the Route is Like
After leaving the airport grounds, your driver joins the D400 coastal highway heading west, bypassing Antalya city centre and passing through the coastal districts of Kemer and Phaselis. The highway winds between the Beydağları mountains and the Mediterranean, delivering panoramic coastal views.
The final leg of the drive turns off the main highway and descends a winding, scenic road through the canyon into Olympos. Our fleet consists of fully licensed, air-conditioned minibuses and cars, providing ample space for luggage and equipment.
Journey Times at Different Hours
Traffic volume along the D400 varies depending on the time of day and time of year:
- Daytime and peak hours (08:00 to 19:00): Local traffic around the Antalya junction and Kemer can add 10 to 15 minutes to the journey, bringing total travel time to roughly 90 minutes during busy summer months.
- Night and early morning (19:00 to 08:00): Highway conditions are clear, with the 85 km drive consistently taking about 75 to 80 minutes.
About Olympos
Olympos is nestled in a valley within the Beydağları Coastal National Park, known globally for its treehouse lodges, eco-pensions, and Lycian archaeological ruins. The site opens directly onto a wide pebble beach bordered by freshwater streams. Unlike larger resort towns, Olympos has no high-rise hotels or large package resorts, preserving a calm, nature-focused atmosphere popular with hikers, climbers, and independent travellers.
Practical Arrival Tips
- Child safety seats: If you are travelling with young children, request baby or booster seats on the booking form. We fit them prior to pick-up at no additional cost.
- Valley road descent: The last 10 km down into the valley involves several sharp bends. If you or your passengers are prone to travel sickness, inform your driver, who can take the curves gently or stop along the highway lookout points.
- Drop-off locations: Many pensions in Olympos sit along a narrow dirt track. Your driver will drop you at the front gate of your chosen accommodation or at the entrance archway if the path is restricted.
